While most people travel to Jeonju just to taste their authentic bibimbap, let us
not overlook the beauty of this city that boasts heritage and history via interesting
landmarks and renowned tourist spots. The city is more than its famous cuisine.
After a moment of savoring its delicious dish, try to roam around and appreciate
the city that does not only appeal to the sense of taste but to the sense of sight
as well.

**Location**
Jeonju is a city in Jeollabuk-do of South Korea. Not only does it
span the biggest land area, this destination also holds the record of being the
most populous in the said province.

What makes Jeonju unique is the fact that it has a mix of rural and urban vibes.
While historical sites are preserved, flourishing modernization isn’t halted at
the expense of giving importance to the city’s interesting and rich past.

**Climate**

The city experiences four seasons. Spring is in April and May. Fall is between September
and October while summer occurs from June all the way to September.

⌊jeonju-3⌉⌊jeonju-3⌉(3)

July is said to have the most rainfall. Those who are not fond of the rainy season
should avoid this month and come here in January as it is the driest.

**Transportation**

The nearest airport to the city would be Incheon Airport. From here travelers can
either arrange airport transfers or ride a limo bus.

Those who come from Seoul can also take a train or a taxi. It is more economical
to take train, but taxis are a faster mode of transportation compared to riding
the train. The choice is yours.

**Attractions**

**Jeonju Hanok Village**

Roaming around this village will introduce you to the culture and customs of the
people living here as it is considered as the heart of the city.

front liner when it comes to the list of cities serving good food.

⌊jeonju-6⌉⌊jeonju-6⌉(6)

Makgeolli is a slightly alcoholic beverage that tastes sweet and is made of white
rice, while Bibimbap is a mixed rice dish topped with several kinds of vegetables
and soy sauce.
